A massive mash-up made in the fall of 2011 — my tribute to Phillip Damien’s legendary 1994 “Pearls” bootleg mix. I gave the CD to Frankie Knuckles in the booth at Cielo in New York. As soon as he received it, he put it on and played it straight through to the outro. No hesitation. That moment meant everything to me. I love you, Frankie. Thank you, Phillip.
